they get more pedantic it use to take my wife and i both australian 45 mins to do retirement visa renewal and re entry visa even with a lot of people at immigration because we always had a brief case with right documents and copies now it take days as they keep passport overnight of all

paper work

inorder and you have to return next day to collect ....

10 yrs just cost more i don’t think any discount otherwise you should just go 5 yrs and then renew 5 yrs i have many friends now who have TE and have not heard one complaint good luck

if u can afford it take it just makes life easier in and out airports and not visiting immigration yearly there are saving so even though you pay 500k there are some savings .. i have had it now 4 years and it’s excellent and will definitely renew it but again it’s only if u can afford to pay for it onky detractors tend to be those that can’t afford it or don’t see the sense in paying for this visa remember you also don’t need to deposit 800k in a bank account and maintain most of it during yearly renewals the TE visa takes hassle out of life in my opinion and TE office and staff very helpful ... my wife has card also

yes i have friends just returned from UK and not married so had to take separate rooms but they managed to get a hotel with adjoining rooms and a door between the rooms which they opened .......

sorry but she should have thought about that before signing a legal document you can’t say yes then just decide to withdraw will teach her a lesson and why we should never go guarantor for anyone x

if you dont have retirement visa the next best thing but can be too expensive for some is the Thai Elite visa which is for 5 years and cost 500,000 though i did read they may have increased it to 600,000 because of demand... once you hit 50 you can apply for the retirement visa which is cost about thb8,000 for visa and re-entry visa and you can do yourself but you will need a minimum of 800,000 in bank account and dont touch it but must be maintained as a minimum 800,000 so put a little more incase bank fees deducted and you unaware as happened to a friend of mine... with the Thai Elite you dont require funds deposited into an account, there maybe other visas out there someone else can guide you on and doing visa runs but this is going to be a pain in the arse for a while... good luck
