How do you report a crime when outside of Thailand?

Someone has (apparently) checked into a hotel using a copy of my passport and used my Accor points to pay for the stay.

Yesterday the staff told me it was an Indian guy with a different name who checked in, but they changed their story today and said it was my details (they cant give more info due to PDPA). I think they are lying about the passport, but need to report this to Patong police.

How do I go about this?

When booking the ASQ, do you and your partner need to be married to share a room?

We’re not married but have been together many years and have an 18 month old baby, who would be travelling with us.

Would hate for us to have to be separated for two weeks.

Can anyone confirm if this would be the case?
