but seriously why should the different points of entry make a difference to the immigration process? I mean, shouldn't it be a standardized process for all points of entries? 🤔

She's being very honest actually telling that they don't check anymore but better to maintain that amount in your bank account in any case any immigration officers were to check it out..

So it's best to maintain that bank account and consider it as an emergency fund for future urgent cases when needed.. a backup financial assistance.. like for major medical expenses.... who knows.. 😊

Are you trying to saying that a Burmese can't stay in a hotel in his/her own country without showing proof of his/her residency location??

Vaping is illegal in Thailand by law. Disregard the local Thais that vapes openly or discreetly. It doesn't mean that it's okay for you to do so too..

You are a foreigner and that makes you an easy target.

look here. He is residing in Chiangmai. He said that he received his visa in Chonburi using a visa agent.

He may have used the agent in Chiangmai who then dealt with the immigration in Chonburi or he may have gone to Chonburi to use that agent. It was not mentioned specifically..

So, why don't you please read the post again. 😊

Just curious, where is your visa agent located? Did you deal with her in Chiangmai or Chonburi?
