Any decent hotel recommendations in Mukdahan and Savannakhet. I've decided to drive stopping off at Saraburi then Udon Thani before heading to Mukdahan.

Can I stay overnight in Thailand? Reason I ask is my wife's passport is still in her family name rather than her married name. So would mean me going over the border with paperwork then back over to Thailand to wait till next day then obviously back over again to collect.
