The Financial requirements for a "Retirement" or "Marriage" Visa haven't changed for years. If you can't afford either you should not be living in Thailand. You are living in a Foreign Country at the end of the day and you always should have reserves. If you can't complete simple forms you shouldn't be here either. A Thai Elite Visa is easily financially obtainable if you've had a "Retirement" or "Marriage Visa" because of the Financial requirements that are required to obtain one. It's a Paid for Visa at the end of the day. Personally it's a complete waste of money. But I can see the point of view of those that want one.
Personally I have looked at Thai Elite and the Service and Benefits are exceptional. However, I find all Visa Applications pretty straightforward so I think it's just a waste of Time. Especially if you have a Thai Wife, Children or are over 50.

The main things to remember is include anything and everything in your application from land and any property she own's to your income and more importantly to show a reason why she needs to return to Thailand. Also buy the biggest and brightest Folder you can find and present all the information within it professionally with a Table of Contents.
