Wannikea Wanblee That sounds plausible. However, it does mean that you need to be proactive to get records indicating that the money is of foreign origin. Ideally the bank should provide a letter just stating you meet the monthly income requirements. That is what I get for my banked 800,000 baht when I used that for my 1 year extension.

My US wire transfers to Kasikorn are labeled Domestic Transfers when viewing the online statement on the Kasikorn website. So yes, going to bank to see if the transfer is recorded differently is something I would advise people to do.

Check the website for your US bank. They will allow you to set up wire transfers to your Thai bank. You can call their help line too. I wire transfer from Bank of America to Kasikorn. You just need the SWIFT number of the Thai bank. I find hard to believe Bangkok bank won’t receive wire transfers.

Can I get my bank letter for a NON-O marriage extension at Immigration on the same day instead of in advance?

I only had about 30 people ahead of me but the L section is pretty slow. I waited 2 hours before my number was called. It takes about 30 minutes to see someone at the bank. Have them update your bank book at the same time.

 I did my with UPS. I got it in the mail in a week which was just fine. I have not record and the document was particularly unimpressive. I'm glad they accepted it.

Hmmm. Didn't think about the bank notary. Good for you. I think I spent over $200 with the notary. Paid for my criminal background check too. No fee for the doctor medical form though. I went to the LA Consulate in person and was under a time constraint so I did what was expedient. I didn't have a lot of time to research alternatives.
