IMMIGRATION OFFICE CLOSURES July and August 2023

Immigration offices nationwide will be closed on:

**Friday 28 July: H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s Birthday

Monday 31 July: Special Holiday <- added**

**Tuesday 1 August: Asalha Bucha

Wednesday 2 August: Khao Phansa Buddhist Lent Day**

Monday 14 August: Substitution for The Queen Mother Sirikit's Birthday & Mother's Day

Plan accordingly.

* Land borders are open like normal during holidays.

* Check before you go if there were other reasons for that border checkpoint to be closed

If you have a stamp that is expiring during holidays when the immigration offices are closed and you show up at the immigration office on the very next working day you will NOT be fined for overstay and can get your extension like normal. But you will get an overstay stamp in your passport that says; "overstay xxx days, fine waived due to holiday/closure".

Can someone tell me if the Thai holiday, "end of Ramadan" will cause immagration office to close in observation?

With it being new year next week, does anyone have any info on the opening and closing times and days for immigration in Bangkok?

Bangkok Immigration is open (or closed) on what days between now and Jan 1. I'm due for a 90 day report on the 28th? Thanks.
