is correct as well as the others comments. When you apply for a 60 day tourist visa and is approved or disapproved, then you will know if you can return to Thailand. Of course, get a refundable air ticket and hotel accommodation so it can be refunded if you are disapproved. This would be a better option than just showing up on a 30 day visa exemption and then get denied entry. Good luck. We will all be rooting for you.

An easy solution: thatโ€™s an old lamp with a 110V ballast. Just change out the ballast and install a 220V bulb. Might be costly but a solution? But if there is no ballast involved just change out the 110V bulb with a 220V bulb.

In the past on 3 occasions pre Covid, I was approved for non -O visa based on family/marriage in USA. It is a 1 year multiple entry, 90 days each visit for 1 year $200 USD. During Covid, I was denied and told to apply for 60 day visa & request for 30 day extension at immigration office in Thailand. In speaking to my local consulate officer, he stated that once โ€œgayโ€ marriage bill is passed, I could resume that same visa once again.

We do it all the time. The airlines usually know this and may ask to see both passports, especially when the stay is longer than 30 days (visa exempt) when you present only the US Passport.

Once she gets her USPassport, she should use her US Passport to exit America, then use her Thai passport to enter Thailand, then use her Thai Passport to exit Thailand and finally use her U.S. Passport to enter America. This avoids any need for any VISAS. Good luck.

She is eligible to take the 70+ fast track immigration line.

It just saves you from going to the immigration office to get an extension.
