my history is very good. Never over stayed, never abused my visa terms in over 40 years. Right not the first visit. Although when they requested my flight booking they, two of them, seemed concened it was within four days of visa expiry. They caculated it out. Life is a little complicated at the moment and visa exempt is the easy path.

I am a frequant travellor and know exactly how to dress and act. So no issure there. Yes the IO at DMK did raise an eyebrow.

Based on expat news reels on Facebook that the 60 day visa could be dropped although I beleive the tourist authority does not want to drop it. It was never meant to be used in this.way

I did but the the rules I have read require proof of earnings. My understanding was copies of statements but now I am bring told letters and stamps. May be this here applies to BB but surely they will require that for all statements.

But what I find is that people sometimes do not understand, a lot of the replies are confusing, and they ask questions but come up against people like you who give stupid answers and it puts them off.

There are no stupid questions as it shows a desire to learn. But there are stupid answers.

How is that possible if the statements can take over a month to get to Thailand from the UK

My daughter at 12 travelled to Thailand by herself in around 2007. No issues that I remember.

I did a two day visit to Vientiane and the IO baulked and wanted to see my outbound flight.
