Get a visa and take away the uncertainty. However get another 60 days and they might flag you as a possible tax resident.

Leaving a day before gives you 24 hours if anything unexpecred happens.

I hope so.

Would it make and does anyone know if you stayed a few days would it make any difference instead of a border bounce

is this intelligent enough. Your response suggests you would be safer staying at home. Does Scotland issue passports? Will be up there again this year walking Knoydart and. Assynt. Beautiful country. Do I need a visa in 2025?

I had a 60 day last year. Coming in the IO noticed the visa had an extra digit for passport number from the embassy. He let me in though. When doing the border bounce they could not find the visa in the system. Did the original IO delete it? Since I had the original document the IO supervisor was very helpful and issued the 60 day visa.

Moral of the story, check and double check your visa on receipt.

if you are applying for a 60 day visa then do not put a period longer than 60 days. You need to leave and return before 60 days. Not sure if you can get a 30 day extension.
