no, I will apply for a non O this year. Last year has a health issue and needed to be in Thailand fir family so time was very tight for arranging a visa

Be very careful if you hold British passport. The expiry date is 10

years after the issue date. Many countries do not recognise that last 6 months. So 10 years from the issue date.

Well I have just done Vientiane. Spent two days. Get an e-visa and a hotel near the night food market. They wanted to see my outbound flight.

that maybe but why? Maybe multiple attempts, their dress suggest that lack money and may work, no onward ticket, etc etc. IOs in any country are not stupid but seen enough to know that people think they can trick them. Nope.
