I totally agree it’s not the norm . After doing my local research though the yearly statement isn’t required in Hua Hin. They do have the bank book which may or may not show the balance after every transaction. My balance never went below 800K and my non o was issued in the same office. This might have come into the equation?
I went in 40 days early just in case they wanted the yearly statement which they didn’t ask for.
for the first and subsequent extensions based on 800K the year statement isn’t required. Bangkok Bank takes a week or so to generate it so I don’t get one and my mates also extend every year without the yearly statement.
For the 65K method Bangkok bank will issue a years worth of ‘credit advice’ on the same day. But that’s different than the yearly statement
