You also can go to Thailand as a tourist, take an agent and need either an insurance nor the 800,000k.

For the Immigration you will have a VIP status, because the agent will give them an "appreciation payment". The agent will also open bank account at Bangkok Bank.

Available since many, many years. Especially in Pattaya widespread. 😁👍
