I find it crazy and a little bit scammy. Funny to also see well known influencer's pushing it when it's clearly useless. I spoke with them myself and I asked what happens if for example I sold my motorbike or had a bit of Thai baht I needed to put on it. You must change to a foreign currency first, then change back to THB via the card 🤔🤔. Madness, the only winner here is Kasikorn.

I genuinely think far too many people are over thinking this. Relax and enjoy it. Why waste your time overthinking every single detail when we're all in uncharted territory. Nobody has definitive answers, only hearsay and speculation.

If the extension process is the same as or possibly even more stringent than the initial application then how is it a 5 year visa, unless you do a bounce. This is what I can't wrap my head around 🤔🤔🤔

That's interesting info but wait a sec, you entered immigration and because you went to the wrong counter that's a straight up ฿2000 fine, that's extremely harsh. It seems to be at the moment they have absolutely no idea what they need to do for an extension and if you have to resubmit everything again then it's basically like reapplying so therefore is not a 5 year visa but a 6 month visa because if you fail to meet the requirements you don't get the extension and you only get 6 months out of it. Also you would think they would go easy on the first batch until they have it figured out to keep the momentum and the success of the visa going rather than a bunch of negative reports all over social media if that's how it's going to be.
