Hi I've tried to use the search and can't find any recent feedback. I go to TH 3-4 times a year from Europe on a 30 day visa waiver and usually stay 3-4 weeks. I will fly there in Jan and after a week. or so I plan to go to Phnom Penh for a week and then I'd like to get a tourist visa from the Thai Embassy in PP to re-enter for 2-3 month's. A few years ago I did this and I remember there were a few extra requirements that they didn't have in places like Vientiane. Can anyone offer any advice or feedback on getting a Thai tourist visa in PP. Do I need to make an appointment, will I need bank statements etc? For reference I intend to fly back into BKK. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on obtaining a Thai tourist visa from the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh after a 30-day visa waiver. They inquire about the necessary requirements, such as the need for bank statements and whether an appointment is required. The conversation includes suggestions to check the Thai consulate's website, consideration of obtaining a multi-entry visa beforehand, and personal experiences regarding documentation.
true but it is a good option if you have the £5000 in the bank to show, if you do use this, get a PDF copy, I took screenshot of my balance one time and was asked to send again in PDF format, just took longer to get the Visa
