Hey Brandon. Wondering if you can help me with my daughter. She's university aged.

1. From America

2. She came in September on a Tourist Visa. While here, she got the Ed Visa which expires in a few days. We need to go out and come back in. Do you recommend anything in particular for her? I'm not sure what the difference between border bounce and visa run are or which one would apply to our situation.

Sorry to hear this...should I expect this to happen leaving on an ed visa that expires this week and coming back in on a tourist visa? (route through cambodia)

Hi Scot, my daughter is currently here on an ed visa that's expiring soon. We will go to Cambodia and come back in a few days. When doing the e-visa, am I to select the country we are physically sitting in right now for 'current location', which we will be in Cambodia when we fill this out? Or the country we are permanent residents of? I agree with you that its confusing.

Hi Stuart, I was speaking to you via private messenger regarding my university-aged daughter. We are going to travel to Cambodia or Laos this next weekend to get her onto a tourist visa (from the Ed Visa). We are from USA. Is this something we should fill out and show on our way back into Thailand at the airport in customs?

no, not necessarily. She did apply 8 weeks in advance. She was asked to come in via appointment only to confirm identify to get the permanent (10 year passport) which will be ready in 3-4 weeks.
