I think the bank keeps it if you dont have steps in place. Not sure to be honest. So if you think you are going to cark it start withdrawing pronto.

I am not well informed on this issue but somebody else might be.Anyone ?

2 agents told me they could get around the 800 000 baht deposit by me but they both needed my passport for 1 month.! Another red flag for me.So I declined. I will stress that other people I know have used agents and not had a problem. I intend moving around Thailand a bit and do no want any hassles in the future.

Thats well put. I have been advised to put the 800 000 in legitametly to avoid any future dramas. I intend folĺowìng this advice.
