No direct flight. Only 2 airlines fly direct Melb - Bangkok - Thai and Jetstar, the latter which I won't again fly. Scoot is probably the cheapest but not by enough to dissuade me from booking a direct flight. I just don't understand the high prices at the lowest point of the Thai tourist season, particularly when Google claims June to be the cheapest month generally to fly to Thailand.
