I closed my bank account with them when I moved here during COVID times as they couldn't confirm whether or not I would be able to use my bank account here. Oddly enough they said the credit card account was fine... It worked ok for 4 years. Until this letter. Guess I'm a bad customer as I pay off the account in full every month 🤣

That is not correct. Not all banks in UK will close your accounts.

If I had family in the UK I'd use their address.

What are the best practices for shipping goods from the UK to Thailand and navigating customs?

Seven Seas are very good. It's a door to door service. I only sent clothes, books, some framed pictures and personal items of sentimental value which I couldn't fit into 2 suitcases. Everything else I binned. 7 Seas give you a weblink and you can see how your items/ship is progressing real time. I had no issue with customs I guess as the goods were used and with no real value so nothing charged.

The more you send size/weight/value costs more and is it worth it..?
