It is becoming more of an issue....interrogated...hard to get bank account when everything was in order etc... Next time I return . Next Jan approx doing the non o retirement same as this visit and will find my thai bank with 800 k.
Want to avoid agent as think things will get tighter over the coming months or years and intend to stay here full time when I officially retire in two years
Do the TDAC arrival..you didn't stay an excessive time and you been fine a few months so should be ok. Do you have proof of leaving Thailand within 60 days...if so I would imagine you will get the 60 day exemption on arrival with no issue
As long as you can use a computer then you can do yourself. In UK is about 50 pounds 2000 bhat. for the actual visa maybe a bit higher as not look recently.I
As long as you meet all the criteria the agent just takes 23k bhat from each of you....if you think that's reasonable then you can hopefully use an agent and get everything easy. When I used an agent for my thai girlfriend to come to UK in fiance visa we paid the agent a deposit. After four five weeks nothing had really even moved on. We dumped the agent ....did own medical booking and language test in bkk. Everything sorted in 60 days.....glad I dumped the agent and their extortionate fee. Told us would take three to six months.......that was because they were dreadful lol.
The agent was = visa to go...............more like no visa to go
Omg every thread ends up with different answers.so many based on individuals experiences, all of which are correct for that person but different to others. Just seems so many nuances with what should be hard fast and black and white rules.
This is one of the issues I find constantly happens is that it seems to be office to office or even officer to officer that interpret Thai laws about visas differently...makes it so hard to understand as different people clearly get slightly different scenarios so neither are right and neither are wrong 😂
