TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for proving financial stability for a Non-O visa can vary. Initially, it was suggested that £18,000 should be shown for at least 2 months, but recent changes have indicated that it now needs to be present for a minimum of 3 to 4 months on your bank statement. This is commonly verified through the latest bank statements that reflect the closing balance, with discussions suggesting that only the last month's statement may suffice in some cases. Confusions surrounding visa requirements are common, as experiences differ among applicants.

Omg every thread ends up with different answers.so many based on individuals experiences, all of which are correct for that person but different to others. Just seems so many nuances with what should be hard fast and black and white rules.

You’ll need the 800k seasoned for 2 months prior to getting your year extension in Thailand for the initial non-o in your home I think showing the balance should do it

I’ve heard that it’s changing from having 800,000 baht to one million baht. In the bank 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I applied for a non-o 90 day single entry from Australia, I’m retired, cost me $120 Australian, had to show proof of residence in Australia, screen shot water and electricity bills and screen shot bank statements (blacked out all band account details) once here, I applied for my retirement visa, multiple entries, I went through Anna’s Visa, she’s on face book.

Yes I’m asking is it 3 months that my 18k has to be in my uk bank to get the non o issued from the Thai embassy in London ?
No, that is not true. For an extension of the 3 month non O to a 12 month Retirement Visa, the 800,000B needs to be seasoned in a Thai 🇹🇭 Bank account for two months prior to extension. That is the requirement of Thai Immigration.
There have been reports of a Rouge Bank Manager somewhere, asking for funds to be seasoned for 4 months but this has not been confirmed and would also go against The Dept of Immigration rules.
immigration hasn't changed any seasoning rules. Bangkok Bank have changed their rules in relation to the banked money, as in freezing that sum for an additional amount of time. Rumour has if that it is to prevent agents lodging the funds to 'meet' requirements then withdrawing it again
I've spoken to my Bangkok bank and they are stopping agents from depositing money and they will be closing some accounts down As long as you have regular payments going into your bank from trusted bank account your be fine I think its a lot to do with money laundering by mainly Russian and Chinese
I know, but that's just Bangkok Bank's rules not immigration rules

Is it's what I think he is asking this is from Thai embassy website "Financial evidence e.g. A copy of pension statement if the applicant is a pensioner, or a copy of 1-month bank statement showing your income from pension, or 3-month bank statement of at least £10,000"
