I've got a question for you. I recently went to immigration to get my 12 month extension on my non o retirement and asked about the 65k baht. The immigration officer was very disapproving of this method and didn't really get any clarity on what I need for my next extension. But I'm guessing I'll need to submit a statement from wise and from my Australian bank of the wise deposits over the next 12 months in order to use this method. That correct?

you shouldn't have to lose a couple of weeks surely. I've never applied for a metv but in Australia setv are done in 3 days. Youd be safe I thought to lose a few days at most

Just keep doing what you're doing. You are clearly not living in Thailand so you've got nothing to worry about

If you pay tax on your income in your home country you won't have to pay tax in Thailand

Interesting question and one that's actually appropriate for me as I live here in Thailand at age 53 earning money off my property investments in Ausjailia which the Ausjailian government are thieving badly these days from which is only going to get worse.

My plan b would be to move me and my girl (very risky in itself) back to Ausjailia to live in Wollongong and get a dog and too part time work for a bit.
