I've just searched the group and cant find an answer, surprisingly.

I have a DTV visa. I'm flying to Bangkok on Friday.

What are the chances of being asked for an onward ticket?

Given that I'm legally allowed to stay 6 months, having booked & paid travel plans that far in advance would be a ridiculous requirement; but bureaucracy and immigration departments aren't known for their careful use of reason and logic.

Anyone..?

you read it the same as me, then; he actually thinks the reason for asking this question is about penny-pinching rather than being clear about having the correct documentation and requirements in order upon entering a foreign country. Thought I'd allow the benefit of the doubt that I might have misread rather than assuming he's trolling or retarded 🤷‍♂️

If you are entering Thailand with a DTV you do not need an onward ticket.
