Do I need an onward ticket when entering Thailand on a DTV visa?

I've just searched the group and cant find an answer, surprisingly.

I have a DTV visa. I'm flying to Bangkok on Friday.

What are the chances of being asked for an onward ticket?

Given that I'm legally allowed to stay 6 months, having booked & paid travel plans that far in advance would be a ridiculous requirement; but bureaucracy and immigration departments aren't known for their careful use of reason and logic.

Anyone..?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are entering Thailand with a DTV visa, you do not need to have an onward ticket. Several community members confirmed that they have entered Thailand on a DTV visa without being asked for an onward ticket.

No need for an onward ticket as a DTVER. Never been asked for one in all my 6 arrivals, the latest being last Wed.
