in Pakistan, they have not entertained any DTV in Past, but since it went online from new year - they had to accept my application for DTV

nope, either you should book a refundable ticket from home country to thailand or buy one from Indonesia to Thailand and explain the situation and come clean.... because if they request the whole passport then you can get in trouble

then it would be on him... but i asked something similar to Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur, they said if you apply with us, at the time of applying you must be in KL, after that you can go to any other country other than Thailand, but if we request for Interview then you must be present in the country where you have applied. If not then you can receive the visa if approved.

Regarding sponsorship, the person who can sponsor you should be directly related (Parents, siblings etc), you can check with embassy where you applying if the company transfer the funds in your account making it more than 500K Baht, would they consider the application or not

maybe just book a refundable flight ticket and then return it.

It really varies from Embassy to Embassy, some says the amount should be in for 3 months, some requires at the time of application you should have 500K.

But if you are transferring from your own accounts, it should be okay
