There's not a lot of difference between Etihad, Emirates, Qatar I've flown them all from various places. Also, I once flew OmanAir from Manchester, UK, via Muscat to Bangkok and I must say the stopover in Muscat was much shorter, so more bearable. I've not done Thai purely on cost, but if all the airlines I've flown and not on price alone, my favourite is Singapore Airlines. One airline I won't use again is Gulf Air, I have my reasons which I'll keep to myself.
You could always take a daily anticoagulant to minimise your risk of stroke. Heart attacks can happen to anyone of any age, if you go around worrying about that then better to live out your life in your own country where and if you get free health care.
Just die in a country your happy in then πππ. Seriously though, it's a fact that with old age comes health problems, it's part of the demise of the human body. If your in very reasonable health, take care of it with regular exercise that you can achieve as long as you can. If you drive or ride a motorcycle as I do get the best cover insurance you can buy so that in the event your injured you get good medical care. I'm 76 got a few aches and pains periodically but cardiovascular system in very good condition, so I don't worry about unforeseen issues.
Boarding card is what the airline issue at check-in or am I missing something. Also this digital TM6, if your network does not cover roaming for Thailand unless you buy an add on, then as in my case I suspend my pay as you go monthly subscription so I don't have to pay for the two or three months I'm in Thailand π€
