 a few long termers in Vietnam have managed to buy Temporary residence, but as we know illegal, and can be a problem at anytime, also expensive. I never ate well in Cambodia.

 I was in Kep and Kampot, probably 12 years ago. I do like Vietnam more than Cambodia but visas are the issue.
