TLDR : Answer Summary
As of now, the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) for entry into Thailand is indefinitely delayed, and there is no confirmed implementation date. Travelers, including British citizens arriving on May 22, should check closer to their travel date for updates, as the situation may change.
It's not live yet and who knows when. I would check nearer the time

NO, Deferred indefinitely at this stage so check again at end of April

If it’s in affect

Impossible to answer that in January, you will have to check that closer to your travel date, but at this stage there hasn’t been any date fixed for the implementation of the ETA.

Check again in May. No one knows if or when the ETA system will be put in place. It's currently on indefinite hold while they plan how to make it work.
