If you plan on staying long term and get a tv package. AIS had a deal where you get a free sim card with unlimited data, but charges for phonecalls. I believe it is 699 a month for AIS fibre. I’ve been using the SIM card in my mini iPad for the last 3 years. It’s awesome. I make all calls via line app anyways.

If I was to get the extension and then apply for a 1 year visa after having 400k in a Thai account for 2 months. I would have a valid 1 year visa from April 2, 2022 till April 1, 2023? If I left Thailand,May 1 2022... would it still be valid if I returned November,2022 or do I have to do a new visa process? Sorry 😐 it’s a big question. I appreciate your time.

Thank you for the clear and concise answer. You are correct, I was mistaken... it was a 2 month extension. 😜 My apologies. I miss my Teerak, whom I haven’t seen in a year and I’m a bit stressed about the happenings in Thailand at the moment and the logistics of being able to return. 🖐

But I did do a 1 month extension the last time I was there because my 2nd 90 days was going to run out before I could return to Canada after my flight was cancelled. It was before amnesty had been offered. May 2020.
