get a computer nerd or student to help you, I did. Need to use Jpeg. Don’t feel bad, I didn’t even know what that was. Take a deep breath you’ll get through it. Also lots of advice on YouTube.

Good luck. I’ve been booked and Thailand pass approved. Whole trip blew up because Japan closed borders. My connection was Tokyo. I’m missing my own wedding, beyond devastated. No reroute available. Trust me I’ve tried everything. My son has been there two weeks. It will be the loneliest holidays ever. I will not go through Beijing, had a bad experience there.

no must have a certified translator. List available on line. Many are near the embassies.

for us people must make appointment with your embassy, they will notarize your affidavit then must have translated and passport to register the marriage. You can do a civil or Thai wedding, but doesn’t count until registered. They will also need some evidence of your relationship and will interview you. That’s why you must have it translated. My fees were 50$ for embassy and 50$for translated Takes about three day turnaround for embassy. My translated will handle and mail to my fiancées address. Since our home is six hours northeast of Bangkok Good luck, really not that hard. The stamp or seal must be done at your embassy in Thailand. For The US you can’t get into embassy without a printout of appointment. No walking ins permitted. I don’t know about your embassy, but pay close attention. Forms can be had at embassy or downloaded. Check and see you may discover there are certified translation services near your embassy.

. I don’t mind the one day hotel anymore, as after flying 24 hours plus 8 hours layover, I could use the rest. What on earth are they doing with people caught in the middle like this.

I plan applying for a 30 day extension, on line or local immigration office. I have 30 exempt now with return flight, but will change that( no fees due to Covid) when extension approved. Already got insurance to cover what’s needed.

Yippee, so glad. I have so many friends and family in Thailand. They send so many interesting things. Especially food and culture. Plus functions , festivals etc.

for me it’s family, close friends and a husband to be waiting for me. Individuals desires are far from the same. I have my own wedding to get to.
