TLDR : Answer Summary
When you arrive in Thailand with an eVisa, the immigration authorities will stamp your passport for a duration of 60 days. You need to present the eVisa approval email along with your passport at the immigration desk. While the system is electronic, it's recommended to print your approval email for smoother processing. Users have shared their experiences regarding the efficiency of eVisas compared to traditional paper visas, highlighting both convenience and occasional challenges with electronic submissions.

When you present your printed visa they write ‘ evisa’ and date of your 60 day limit in your passport

Never got an e-visa in Thailand but I presume they do it like Vietnam. A confirmation is sent to your E-mail and you show that with your passport at the Immigration Desk and they stamp you in.

we are livving in the electronic world, making it easy for all now to most countries since you don't need to bring your passport to an Embassy. conveninet for all, no long lines to stand in. approval message sent you.

In this respect yes, but paper documents shown at airport departure and at immigration arrival is much quicker than people showing downloaded documents one by one on their phone. Like in the supermarket, those doing this always hold up the queue. drives me nuts!

E-visa to Thailand is crazy. It should be easy and npt so damn hard and it can go wrong too easy. What is the point to make it electronic if it fails too easy. Paper visa was done in few minutes and on the way by post. No problems ever, done it at least 30 times.
