Can I get a second SETV in Hanoi after staying in Thailand for six months on tourist visas?

Quick Question ( Hanoi SETVs).

I arrived in Thailand in December on a 30 day visa on arrival. I extended 30 days at Bangkok Immigration. I went to Hanoi, came back and got another 30 visa on arrival - I extended again. In March I went back to Hanoi. This time I got a 60 day SETV. Very easy process. Took 5 minutes, picked up next day. Had extensive proof of funds and bank statements to prove I was living on ATM withdrawals from my UK bank, and not working. To confirm I am not working in Thailand. I am travelling on substantial inheritance money.

In June I need another VISA. I wish to leave Thailand in early September. I really want to go back to Hanoi, I love it there.

Do you think I will be ok getting a second SETV in Hanoi, or should I go to another place such as Penang? I will have been in Thailand 6 months on tourist visas at the time I apply for a new SETV.

To confirm, I am a UK passport holder.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about obtaining a second SETV in Hanoi after spending six months in Thailand on various tourist visas. They confirm they are not working and mention their travel history between Thailand and Hanoi. Community responses clarify visa terminology, suggest applying in Ho Chi Minh City, and reassure the user that there are generally no strict rules regarding the time spent in Thailand.

Not to be overly pedantic :O but I am a stickler for the correct terminology :O
@S**
, you most definitely did NOT enter thailand on a 30 day "visa on arrival" :/ I say that because there is NO such thing as that.

You entered thailand without having bought a visa before hand, and due to your nationality you were stamped in for 30 days on a "visa exempt stamp".. ;)

There is no rule on how long you can be in thailand in any period.

I dunno that I'd hit Hanoi back-2-back like that but you shouldn't have a problem getting a second SETV from them or just about any consulate.
