Can I open a bank account in Thailand with a DTV visa?
I have DTV Visa here in Bangkok, please is there any one or agents that can help with Bank account opening? This is really needed here

He might not be wrong. I had a Thai friend who works at immigration, and there is much talk about how it was a mistake. I can see this visa being void by the end of 2025, with extensions not being issued. It's being abused and the wrong people (often through agents) and getting this 5 year ability to abuse Thailand. This is just my opinion. We will all have to wait and see.

Thailand as an economy is absolutely broke, they created this visa to allow people to stay and spend money. If anything they are going to allow foreigners to invest money easier in the future.

The Bangkok Bank changes have nothing to do with DTV but they are supposedly locking all accounts opened on tourist visas and DTV is a tourist visaMichael *******

yea but im not risking it I pulled all my money yesterday had a safe installed this morning I’m my own Thai bank now at least until we know for sure who’s accounts are getting locked.Anonymous ******************
