you can show proof of funds, doesn’t have to be cash. Also they are not asking every traveller entering Thailand otherwise the queue would stretch for miles🤷🏾‍♀️ It’s relevant for those they pull aside for previous history too many extensions etc, the ones that could be working illegally, normal tourists -7-14 days average stay with onward travel shouldn’t be concerned

all airline crew have to pass through a dedicated channel at immigration, no need to tell them you are a pilot 👩‍✈️ unless you are not on official duty and in uniform.
