Do UK citizens need a visa to visit Thailand for 30 days?
I am traveling to Thailand on the 25/4/25 to 25/5/25 so 30 days in total,I'm a UK citizen, do I need a visa? , some say I do and some say I don't ? Who's right? . Thank you for any advice.

I’ve recently travelled from the UK to Bangkok. My passport was stamped 60 days. I understand from May 1, you have to fill in an online form before you travel.

60 days on arrival stamped in your passport.....no visa necessary. Enjoy yourself. As you are arriving before 1st May no need for anything else.

For now you get your passport stamped for 60 days on arrival, may change in future but for now 60 for UK Citizens 🇹🇭🇹🇭

As others have mentioned, you do not need a visa. That aside, to avoid mis-counting causing you a potential overstay if you decide to stay longer, 25 Apr to 25 May is 31 days (inclusive), not 30 days. Happy trails.

I totally agree with you, it’s a whirlwind of confusion . I’ve been going for 15 years , it was tourist exemption on entry for 30 days. You could then leave the country on your 29th day return after being elsewhere & get another 30 days ‘tourist exempt,’
Then it was changed to 60 days , Tourist exempt & still is.
But they are still considering reverting back to tourist exempt for a 30 day stay.
This is what I understand, at the moment, together with the ‘on line’ form’ to be submitted 72 hours prior to arrival, so I understand.

Even when visa exempt was only 30 days, you still wouldn't have needed a visa. Right now it's 60 days. No one should ever have said you needed a visa.
