Your Bangkok bank is the one you will have to check. It will be paid into your account in Australian Dollars and they will exchange it into THB. My bank in Spain rip me off by exchanging at 3% less than the spot rate. Might not sound much, but it’s a lot out of your pension. I would also recommend WISE. I am seriously considering having my pension paid in there.

Thanks Brandon. Because I have the O retirement visa, I bought a years health insurance with Cigna. It covers corona. But I can see me having problems with it should I try to apply for the Thai pass. As it’s not holiday insurance and I doubt it covers me for $50k for corona.

I was supposed to go to Cambodia, but due to the hassles just stayed in Thailand. Question … if I have an O retirement visa, do I need a Thailand pass to get back in?
