I’m having the same problem with obtaining the Covid19 test within 72 hrs. of flight time. Had to cancel four flights so far.

The most difficult issue is obtaining the insurance. Companies do not have to issue it if you have preexisting medical conditions or exceed an arbitrary age limit.

They still process quickly. USPS 1st class mail causes the delays. Not the Chicago consulate.

For a small fe they’ll send it 2day USPS priority service .

Depends on how much money you have and whether or not you can waste the time. I haven’t gone to an agency but my friends that do can’t afford to waste a few hours and let their agents do the work and think that something is wrong with me.

I’m a normal person who’s been established in the Kingdom for years. Not a tourist.I’m not expecting an advantage . I’d just love to have the opportunity to pay for quarantine.

It’s all unknown.

I have a nonimmigrant O visa based on Thai family in Thailand . I’ve lived in Thailand for years. My wife has a few homes. She’s a middle class Thai who earned an MBA in the states. Her family is general officer military. Money is not an issue. I formerly owned manufacturing facilities in Thailand. I still can’t get back !

Does owning property in Thailand for several years indicate strong ties to the country?

Multiple relationships with Thais or others is associated with HIV. Not in anyway trying to look down or insult you. Many of us have had multiple relationships. Best to be tested for HIV,syphilis and HCV to prevent transmissions others and for your care.
