Non immigrant type O multiple ( not over fifty retired visa type O-A or work visa ) entry visa. Renew annually. Do not over stay. Fly in and return by air flight a few times per year. I like Burmese fermented tea leaf salad and for decades have crossed into Myanmar from Mae Sai to purchase it every four to six weeks.
Am I now only allowed to cross the border from Mae Sai to purchase it twice per calendar year even though I have a multi entry visa and I’m not crossing for a border run ? Never stayed more then 12 months on any non immigrant type O multi entry visa in last two decades. I think I know the answer but was curious for conformation from Todd ,an administer or other knowledgeable individual. Thank you in advance.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses concerns regarding the limitations on border crossings with a Non-O multiple entry visa, specifically focusing on whether the user is restricted to two crossings per calendar year for personal reasons, despite having this type of visa. The user has historically crossed into Myanmar for Burmese fermented tea leaf salad every four to six weeks and seeks confirmation on the current regulations. The comments include inquiries about the acquisition of the visa and a shared interest in the food mentioned.
