I have read the amended article a year ago and it was clear stating income earned inside Thailand which would basically be going after digital nomad. I love how so many take that and run and turn it into something different. Even watched a video from an attorney on Thailand basically say the same thing. Common sense would tell you there would be a massive amount of retired people fleeing.

3000 for driver license. That is chicken fee. Less than a hundred dollars for someone to handle all the stress. I would take that any day of the week

the embassy just doesn't want to work . Lazy ass in my opinion. Your taxes are being spent on processing visa to your country instead of helping the people that pay their salary. If you have government pension than it should be no work to them. Do they actually think are valsifying their bank records. And did the American and British and Austrian embassy have a meeting to all stop the affidavit. The negative thing about Thailand is the games of immigration. Sure wish it was more like the phillipines immigration.

I am sure everyone wished they could have retired earlier. I am lucky I have a military pension and private pension and sold a small dental laboratory. So I am set for life. Retiring at 50 was my goal. But I do miss and love what I did for a living so I still do some work online for free to kill time if board.. I have houses in Thailand and phillipines and Italy. I am blessed and I hope you can achieve your goals. The key is to be happy and not worry about others
