I'm doing my first 90 day report in Bangkok in person after converting my non-O visa into a one year retirement visa. I have the small slip the immigration office gave me and my stamped passport. Is the 14 day prior and 7 day after reporting day rule still in effect? What other items do I need or are recommended that I bring with me? Is there a form I can pick up at the information desk? What copies, if any, should I make before I enter the queue? Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For your first 90 day report in Bangkok on a retirement visa, you can report in person from 14 days before to 7 days after your due date. Bring your passport with the TM30 slip, and you can obtain the TM47 form at the immigration office or download it online. No copies are required for the report in Bangkok, but consider doing your report early to avoid potential issues. Some advise trying online or mailing your report, as many have had success with these methods.

Save yourself a trip and mail it in. Or try online first and see if they reject. They normally respond in hours. Many people including myself have successfully did first 90 day online. It doesn't hurt to try or but they accept mail in regardless. Just go to post office. You have options. I know in issan it's to do first 90 day online. Bangkok is different but they online first. The most that can happens is they don't accept it. There is a video from immigration and it does not state it's mandatory to report online. My wife showed me the video. More than willing to show proof of mine
filling the tm30 online is not so easy. It is confusing as hell. Thanks to Tod he walked me Tru it. I would have never figured it out. Immigration should have a step by step video. It's basically two parts. Thanks to Tod he pointed out I had basically only did half of it. Once I submitted I had the acceptance immediately
