TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the costs associated with Thailand's retirement visa, mentioning that the initial visa fee is 2,000 Baht with a yearly extension costing 1,900 Baht. Comments suggest using immigration services and agencies to ensure proper documentation, which may involve additional costs and financial requirements depending on the type of visa. Overall, while the visa is affordable, the necessary cash deposits can be significant.

Robert Harrington I've been nomading. It is a great experience but certainly costs more than saying put in one place. I've heard people say the tax loopholes in Thailand are big enough to drive a truck through... But you should pay your fair share.
