or current ‘ extension ‘ you mean . ? aim due return to Thailand on the 24th , I keep hearing ‘ on a O-A visa ‘ , but I’m assuming this also means an ‘ extension ‘ based on a 0-A visa ..
And also if they only stamp you for 30 days , and your existing ‘ extension ‘ still has 10 months left on it ( as in my case ) what happens to that ? ..
I’m only interested in returning on an already active ‘extension ‘ based on a 0-A ..as I leave on the 10th Nov and returning 24th
Personally although I’m concerned I really can’t see how they can ask you for insurance, because you ( me ) obtained the extension before the 31st Oct .. sure when you go to renew it I can understand it as you won’t get the ‘ extension without insurance.. but anybody on an active one the must assume it was before Or you would naturally have insurance otherwise you wouldn’t of got the stamp ?
Baggage claim tickets ? Blimey I haven’t been home for a years you get given claim tickets ? ... and sorry do you mean your 0-A extension ? or new visa
So if you have a current extension ( 0-A ) that is valid ( in my case until next September 2020 ) I won’t need that insurance until I need to renew it ? . I mean if I leave the country on a multi entry , next week in my case , that’s fine no need for insurance on my return in December ... until I come to renew ?
I’m confused , when you arrive in Thailand , and go through immigration, they only want to see your passport surely , I’ve never seen anyone getting out certain paperwork .. surely you have to get this insurance and show it ’ before ‘ you obtain your visa from the Embassy in your home country , otherwise you won’t get that visa , And I’m guessing when you wish to apply for your extension next time round you will also have to obtain insurance ( amongst other things ) at the immigration in Thailand .. Airport immigration I would assume that they would ‘ assume’ you have the necessary requirements otherwise you wouldn’t have a Stamp allowing you in , in your passport ?
