What will happen in Thailand for vaccinated travelers applying for visas?

100p cent would be nice but not possible But yep if it was 100p cent Like any vacc.eg measles Then u would not catch it , however like most virus infections they often change their gnome sequence which is why the flue jab is often aimed at 3 strains and is even a different jab between the North and Southern hemisphere

Grant Stevens, wonder why you are not a candidate for the Nobel Prize? Your brain is so big that you are the next ruler of the entire world. Good luck... LOL LOL LOL

@Henrik ***

😂😂😂😂 bye flop!

@Grant ********

, you keep talking about yourself. You have no clue but funny private ideas. 90% of the world population do not care about fools like you. BYE.

@Henrik ***

you had your chance, what dont you get about put up or shut up? You and your buddy laugh and thought I was making shit up about my son now show me where I got my so called YouTube clips and conspiracy theories from or take a walk. I backed up everything I said, you havent! Stop wasting my time, you're full of shit and I can tell you love to hear the sound of your own voice.

@Grant ********

, you are talking about "blind arrogance". You are talking about yourself here. Your idea that every minor mutation will make the vaccine ineffective is showing nothing but a blind arrogance. This is not how vaccines work. Vaccines are not making a full exact match but are reacting on specific characteristics. Only if those characteristics change, the vaccine becomes ineffective. Update yourself on the basics of how vaccines work instead of talking about exactly your own blind arrogance and self-importance being unable to face the fact that thousands of virologists might know better than you... OVER AND OUT.

@Henrik ***

name them, you are full of shit, never assume anything. Tell me what data is used to predict if the vaccine works and for how long?? Mathematics, its not from long term testing. You come up with these wild assumptions that I have these "private ideas" it must be hard being right all the time. Also I said 3 - 12 months not 6, nothing contradictory there. A monster mutation hahahahaha any mutation that alters the rna strain will render the vaccine useless. You keep arguing without putting up any facts, that shows that you are so full of your own self importance and your inability to accept that there could be some truth to what im saying. I asked you to put up or shut up and you didn't. So as we say in Australia Henri, jog on!

@Grant ********

, you are clearly mixing up your private ideas with data, and naming ppl not agreeing with your theories to be led by "blind arrogance". We all know the funny sources you are linking to. Yes, there are potential challenges with the vaccines for Covid-19, but very far from what you are talking about. Yes, there might come monster mutations erasing the effect of the vaccines. But nothing indicates this as a present situation. Also, yes, no one knows yet how long the vaccine will maintain antibodies, but only 3-6 months contradicts the data collected so far.

@Henrik ***

what YouTube videos? Oh that's right your arrogance leads you to assumptions, im not mixing anything up. There are no conspiracy theories, you can point out a conspiracy theory to me if you like, you can also point out which YouTube videos you're referring to?

@Grant ********

, when your own theories based on YouTube videos take over, then discussions are pointless. The virologists have very different ideas from you and your son. You are completely mixing up the effect after the first and second shot. It is the other way around that the effect rises significantly after the second shot, not the other way around. You are obviously searching for "evidence" proving your preconceptions made up from conspiracy theories. When you start with preconceptions instead of data, then you are filtering out all the data which are not in line with your preconceptions. That's the difference between religion and science.

@Henrik ***

again, you cannot compare a vaccine for a respiratory illness to a smallpox or measles vaccine, their only similarities is that they're a vaccine, it ends there. They have all said it is a short term vaccine and will likely be the same as a flu vax which you have to get each year. By the way if you look hard enough you will see many articles from virologists doubting the vaccine and believe that the data has been embellished dropping from 90% to 62% after the second vaccination. Data is not a conspiracy theory, your mind is ruled by blind arrogance

@Grant ********

, you have your own very private ideas about vaccines only working for a short time. How about all the vaccines of the world? Did you forget about vaccines from before? Measles, smallpox, etc. those vaccines are not only 35% effective. Your mind seems to be ruled by conspiracy theories.

@Henrik ***

for a start the vaccine will only last 3 - 12 months, it cannot be effective to new strains, its impossible. This is all about money, ask yourself why the flu vaccine is only 35% effective at best? How long have they been working on them? In less than 11 months they have a 95% effectiveness coronavirus vaccine...really? Ok I asked my son is it possible to come up with the vaccine he said yes...but it will not cover all rna strains...impossible. surely you can't be that naive to believe that this is possible...governments lie, politicians lie. I believe the vaccine is safe and will have no long term effects due to its short life span. Smallpox and the like are not rna viruses. Big difference.

You cannot compare smallpox or measles to a respiratory disease. Dont believe everything you read or hear when big money and big pharma are involved

@Grant ********

, then why are the virologists saying very different from you? The virologists are very strong on this matter that some mutations have no impact on the effect of the vaccines, while what they call "monster mutations" might erase the effect completely. Therefore, the mutations of Covid-19 are monitored very closely. However, some vaccines are easy to adjust to new mutations, while monster mutations might reset the development of the vaccines completely. If you were right, then how come that the world has had stable vaccines for measles, smallpox, etc. for decades?

@Henrik ***

hahahahaha its those mathematicians that have worked with epidemiologists and virologists to predict that the vaccine will work, not doctors mate and once a virus changes the so does the need for the vaccine to be adjusted. I love how you like that other flop Garrett want to brow beat over me knowing how the vaccine was fast tracked and what its capable of by arrogantly taking a swipe. But then again you, like Garrett are obviously experts.

@Henrik ***

my son is a dr of medical mathematics, this is what they do, they fast track medications by working out the probability of medicines actually working. He has told me that most vaccines are made by using the same "modelling" for most vaccines, so some of the guess work is taken out. It is impossible for a vaccine to be made so quickly to cover all strains especially knowing that the vaccine has such a short life span. We cannot even make a common cold vaccine higher than 35% yet here we are with a vaccine for coronavirus???

@Grant ********

, there are more than 400 mutations of Covid-19 already. Each vaccine works for all the known mutations so far. But yes, there might happen some mutations sometimes in the future, the vaccines will not work for. Some vaccines will be easy to adjust to new monster mutations. Some vaccines will not be.

@Henrik ***

i believe the vaccine will work to an extent, it is a new vaccine that will only last between 3 and 12 months, within that time the virus can mutate, how can it protect against a mutated strain that hasn't been used in making the vaccine? You have to use part of the virus as it needs to carry the rna strain when making the vaccine, you cannot make a synthetic vaccine because it carries no RNA strains. Yes it will work like a flu vax and will be topped up each year, remembering that the flu vax is only 35% effective due to mutating flu and influenza viruses all which carry rna strains

@Henrik ***

impossible, they are still finding mutated strains. If they are saying that then they are lying.

@Gr***

Wrong

@Grant ********

, that's not true either. The vaccines being developed so far are effective to the known mutations of Covid-19.

@Christopher **********

, ok. My point is that there are existing vaccines available for numerous diseases that still exist...

@Henrik ***

you said, "there are numerous diseases the world could extinguish if we tried to.". I said, "malaria for sure". I didn't say there was a vaccine.

@Christopher **********

, it still doesnt exist.

@Henrik ***

/Bill-Gates-Announces-168-Million-to-Develop-NextGeneration-Malaria-Vaccine

@Christopher **********

, there is no vaccine for malaria.

@Henrik ***

malaria for sure.

@Josh *******

, there are numerous diseases the world could extinguish if we tried to.

@Josh *******

, the body is not fully capable of fighting off viruses, but only partly capable. Medical science is the major reason why people are living about double the age than 100 years ago. Vaccines are one of the major miracles of medical science.

@Henrik ***

you do know the human body is fully capable of fighting off viruses how do you think we got to 2020 all the poison people are putting it there bodies with junk food will get sick and catch viruses eat like a human is suppose to and we are good

@Henrik ***

but it’s still there ? Regardless if there’s a vaccine you

@Josh *******

, that's simply nonsense. The world has many highly effective vaccines. Influenza is not one disease but many. Vaccines exist for some but far from all.

@Henrik ***

no vaccine ever did work we still have something called the FLU

Henrik JN So how do you explain why in 50 years, no coronavirus vaccine was ever made? Same for the common cold? Despite many efforts? But now miraculous it’s made in 8 months? You sir are a professional idiot.

@Lindsey *********

@Lindsey *********

@Lindsey *********

, that seems obvious, but no problem to find real sources on how vaccines basically work.

@Henrik ***

you read different sources to me

@Lindsey *********

, yes it is. If you have antibodies you are not getting sick and are not infecting others. Otherwise, no vaccine would ever work.

@Lee *********

be back in nongkhai when get vaccine for sure, so grafting till then.and retire to issan

@Tom ******

just cos your home !!!

@Tom ******

Thailand is home

@Gerhard **********

?

@Thomas ***********

Iam home

@Lee *********

I will have it. I worked in vaccine clinical trials for over a decade. I have no issues with the trials and approval process.

@Gordon ********

exactly mate

@Kool ******

yes! But there are no cumulative figures of non-Thai positives in quarantine.

@Kool ******

True ! This Costs more deaths than corona,that's for sure !

@Kool ******

spot on

Vasileios Vasileiadis For once the conspiracy theorists are the only sane one ones talking. The rest are bloody idiots—like turkeys voting for Christmas. I used to be one but now all my conspiracy theories have come true so I’ve nothing to believe in.

@Michael ******

from what I’m hearing by talking to people in Thailand, if you have a wife\children or are going for business in Thailand they will let you in, a tourist like me they won’t let in at the moment.

People have been turning up in Thailand and have sent back home. Absolutely stupid why let them on the plane in the first place.

@Mark ******

i cant see songkran celebrations happening they will cancel same as last April me thinks 🤔

@Tom ******

didn’t know you were a medical professional???

@Ralph ******

Hang on, you can enter on a Tourist visa NOW.

@Tom ******

I'll bet you think the Earth is flat!

@Tom ******

are you a small child?

Ralph Meene there’s some real professional idiots in this thread. They’re telling you that even if you’re vaccinated you won’t be covered for an apparent disease that 99.8% recover from? When they can only guarantee at best a 70% efficacy rate? With a vaccine never before produced? Despite years of trying? But now miraculously in only 8 months? By makers who refuse to accept responsibility and demand legal immunity for side effects and deaths? And you still have to keep getting the jabs? And still will have to wear masks? And social distance? And aren’t inoculated against the disease? Can nobody see the absolute insanity of what’s going on? Even a small child can see through this. Wake the fuck up!
