Now that two companies have claimed that they have coronavirus vaccines that are up to 95% effective against the virus, what will be Thailand's next move for restrictions of entering the Kingdom. Thailand had stated that they would be the first to make a vaccine available to the public. Will restrictions change for those who have had the vaccine?

TLDR : Answer Summary
With the announcement of effective COVID-19 vaccines, concerns arise about Thailand's future entry restrictions. Many speculate that Thailand may require vaccines for entry, while others predict that quarantine measures may continue in some form. Discussion highlights uncertainty around government policies as various opinions assert the necessity of the vaccine, duration of quarantine, and impacts on tourism.

Want to hear Fauci say so, not Tramp kids.

This should make one extremely keen to get the Jab, I should imagine......not.

As of November 2020, no mRNA vaccine, drug, or technology platform, has ever been approved for use in humans, and before 2020, mRNA was only considered a theoretical possibility for effective use in humans.[1][5][6] As of November 2020, there are two novel mRNA vaccines awaiting emergency use authorization as potential COVID-19 vaccines,

There’s a few dopes on here just queuing up to get that poison in their bodies. Did it ever occur to any of you idiots that you were forsaking a 99% survival rate for a highly dubious 94% survival rate? For a coronavirus vaccine that has never ever before been manufactured? Yet this one was manufactured in 6 to 8 months? And does it not occur to you why all of these manufacturers of these vaccines have got legal immunity and will not release them without it? I’m looking at this thread on this board and I can fully see Darwinism in action.

That twat face Fauci has already stated on CNN that even if you get a vaccine, irrespective of whether it works or it doesn’t work, you will still be wearing masks, still be social distancing, and you will still be subject to lockdowns when the government says so. So don’t think that you’re going to be escaping this “new normal” anytime soon with these eco-fascists in control. And of course you have to ask yourself the question—why bother taking a largely untested vaccine with a 94 or 95% success rate, ignoring the 99% survival rate that you already enjoy, when you’re still going to be subject to the harshest anti-human controls ever foisted on a global society?

The overall Covid-19 Disease lethality is low... The perceived lethality of Covid is in the mind of the fearful. Look at Deaths per million population. Most of the reported covid 'positives' these days are just that - positive PCR - not diagnosed cases, not hospitalized cases and not deaths. Hospitalizations and Death numbers are way down
Tom *******
Joe D Greene you’re wasting your time here mate. This lot are determined to get as much of these poisons into their bodies as fast as possible. In propaganda terms, they’ve all bought a T-shirt, read the book, seen the movie, and eaten the pie. They are all a lost cause.
Joe ***********
Again - if comparing - apply diagnosed Covid-19 disease to diagnosed cases per million population. Same for hospitalizations and deaths,

Something to remember is it's not about a vaccinate or not, its about how manageable the disease is. You also need the antibody treatment available for people who get seriously ill from covid, so you are covered even if an outbreak spreads to un-vaccinated portions of the population. Covid only ends when the disease cannot spread exponentially and is not lethal or life threatening with treatment.
Tom *******
Oops! Pseudoscientist alert. Hide under your beds. This one swallowed all of the government propaganda whole and thinks he knows everything there is to know about COVID-19. Be warned. You’re gonna look like a professional orangutan when the truth eventually comes out.

@Josh **********
will you take the vaccine?
Josh ***********
@Peter **************
I said “fighting” not preventing. Two very different things. When Thailand does drop quarantine , the thing preventing covid that worked so well would then be gone , and thus it can only do so when it feels it can fight a potential outbreak or influx .
Peter ***************
@Josh **********
Thailand doesn’t have the experience the USA have .

Well

That must be the reason why there’s more infections in America

Than in Thailand
Josh ***********
@Joe **********
It's down now compared to March because we (USA , since i live there) know more about the virus, have rendisivir , dexamethasone, and now emergency authorization of a similar anti-body drug trump got. And it shows, in California they only closed gyms and indoor eating places, as opposed to march where everything is closed. But Thailand doesn't have the experience the USA does for fighting covid, and im answering what the Thais will likely want before really opening up.
Joe ***********
@Josh **********
- Thailand has no large scale covid testing program. So it is not known if many hundreds of thousands are Test Positive or not. Considering the recent number of people in Quarantine who show with positive Covid-19 tests... it could well be that low symptom - no symptom Covid-19 is wide spread across Thailand. This would explain how people in quarantine contract Covid-19 (via miscellaneous contact with Thai people - i. e. food handles, delivery people, cleaning staff, etc.).
Nick *******
@Joe **********
utter nonsense. if hundreds of thousands of people had it there would be tens of thousands of hospitalisations and thousands of deaths. Unless I've slipped into a parallel universe where maths and logic don't exist.
Joe ***********
@Nick ******
Do you know what asymptomatic means? Tens and hundreds of thousands around the world have acquired Covid-19 without being ill. You need to check what you think you know. I am quite educated and experienced in this subject matter.
Nick *******
@Joe **********
noisy data, partly because of delays in reporting. The 7 day rolling average is used to iron out the noise and it is still rising, just less than it was before lockdown. Hopefully it will flatten and fall in the next week or 2
Nick *******
because of the lockdown... unchecked it would grow rapidly and surpass the March figures
Nick *******
what YOU think you know doesn't have support in the data so just waffle about big numbers of asymptomatic cases and ignore the data entirely?
Nick *******
to describe this graph as "what I think I know" is hilarious
Nick *******
2 weeks into lockdown the rate of increase in deaths has of course fallen, but it hasn't flattened yet
Nick *******
@Joe **********
do you understand the difference between 'many', 'most' and 'all'. Pretty crucial
Nick *******
maybe actually look at the data instead of parroting inaccurate 2nd hand libertarian rhetoric
Nick *******
the stats speak for themselves, the death rate IS rising alarmingly in England, 2 weeks after the number of detected cases shot up. Not as many as before (there was much less testing in the 1st wave and yes, many of the new cases are mild or asymptomatic) but it's completely false to say it isn't rising now
Nick *******
you're taking the fact that there could be more cases than we know about because of the lack of testing and extrapolating out of all proportion and logic.
Joe ***********

depends where you look. They're on the rise in 2nd wave in UK. A lot more mild cases are found because a lot more tests are done, so the new cases graph is a bit misleading. But that doesn't mean it's not serious, either. Death statistics lag behind new cases by 1-2 weeks which is giving a false sense of security to some (not understanding the correlation's delay effect)
Joe ***********
@Nick ******
- most of those numbers are Test Positives - not from diagnosed cases of people presenting themselves to clinics as sick. If a country increases testing numbers - Positive Tests show up. Very often these people are Low Symptom to No Symptom... Asymptomatic.... Hospital Admissions for actual Covid-19 sickness are not rising - deaths are not rising. Big Brother Govt. is fear mongering
Jay *******
Hoping they vaccinate their population first, then maybe have a requirement to be vaccinated in your home country, or upon arrival in BKK (at a fee).

Knowing how stupid the Thai govt are, and how they have over reacted so ridiculously with this flu, my guess is, they will expect ALL foreigners to have the “vaccine” before getting on a flight to enter Thailand is my guess, or expect to force “vaccine” on arrival.....
Elisa *******
@Steve ************
in my book keeping the country free of a disease that is not successfully treatable is not over reacting. Now that there are options things need to gradually ease. USA not doing so good right now. Do you look at world news. 3fd quarter 2021 things will go back to more normal.
Steve *************
@Elisa ******
where are the dead bodies from covid... take out all of those with ANY co morbidity, or over the age of 60, it’s a hoax, you fool... go and ask the homeless people how many times per day they use disinfectant, where is their mask, and how do they “socially distant”? And If “Covid 1984” is so deadly, why is it not a problem for people to just dispose of Masks in a standard bin, or as you see almost everywhere now, on the ground?? Do you not have any common sense at all? Ask some simple questions and wake up...

well as tourist visa has only been available for about two weeks, with applications and quarantine time you are not going to start to see tourists for at least another two weeks.
