I could get it, but from my understanding, you have to go to Thai immigration after being in the country with proof of income, which I can do, but it says after staying for 90 days. I stay here for 60 days at a time max

Suvannakhet is quite close to me and I could do it. I do have proof of income anyway and a statement from my Chinese bank, but I don't have the notarized letter from my embassy.

The government really needs to simplify the visa process. I don't have to do a thing to keep my visa in china, except a complete physical every year.

Depends on the job too. I strongly suggest that people only work in an international school now. The pay at government schools is terrible.
