Sorry
@Tod ********
that is incorrect. I have just got a new UK passport and my visa sticker was applied to my new passport at Chang Wattana Bangkok. Non B however you are correct but not all visas. Means I no longer need my old passport at all.

I was here a year on 2 back to back tourist visas 4 years ago. My last visa run they questioned me at the airport about my stay in Thailand and what tourist areas I visited and scanned every entry in passport for a good few minutes. Stamped me in and scared me enough to go legit and now never have to do another border run.

I know a guy not far from here on a retirement visa who lives here but visited the UK. The next day after he landed he had an afternoon visit from immigration to check he was living where he stated on his TM6 so thats why maybe.

My understanding is if the TM6 landing card is filled in correctly that you dont have too.

Yes but It will be just before the 29th as its 90 days not three months but you get 7 days grace on this also. The 90 day resets from the day you enter the country.

I can only tell you that I once saw a lady with a cat on her shoulder going through the green channel at Bangkok Airport so it must be easy to do. Ask your nearest Thai Embassy and ask what documents are required. Best of luck and hope it all goes smoothly for you. Maybe come visit our rescue dogs when you get to Thailand.
