It was my only option to stay here as I was under 50. Very easy yearly extensions takes me 15 minutes although you do have to apply for an approval letter from Thailand Elite and you have to give three days notice. Also I live outside Bangkok and my first extension my local immigration had never heard of it.
I agree with the above. Passport first. Just done my UK one. Transfer stamps to new passport and then get ext of stay. And ask for the letter for immigration from your embassy to transfer your existing stamp to your new passport.
Just done mine Phil last month and it actually took 10 days. Check DHL have your correct email and phone number. They actually got my email wrong and luckily text me as well or else I would never have known it was ready to collect.
Just done mine and you have to make an appointment by email to do the application and was in and out in 10 minutes. 2 weeks later you go back to pick it up and again in and out in 10 minutes. You can also nominate someone to do on his behalf.
I can assure you. It's not a stamp but a sticker. They had to do it that way because my visa has my passport number on it and I have a new passport. It is exactly the same as the sticker I'm my old passport and not a stamp. Of course you are correct that O and B visa is a stamp but wanted to correct you when you said all visas.
