one can only assume without any information from the Government up to now however all the foriegners living here bring money into the country so am sure that's a consideration.

my recent visit to immigration I was told to change visa status to retirement I need to border bounce. I told her there are no flights and she said sorry nothing we can do. The Government need an announcement on this soon as the Amnesty runs out in 4 weeks. I have lived here 7 years.

There is no right of way from what I have observed but unfortunately everyone believes they have right of way regardless of the conditions hence the flashing lights (I'm coming through). I once stopped to let an old lady cross the road and was told don't do it as if she got run over I would be to blame.
