I think so. Maybe have to ask someone who has done one. I know the insurance isn't required although I do have that after living here 7 years anyway.

If you come in on a 30 day convert to a Non O in the country and get extensions of stay based on retirement without the need for the insurance as long as you meet the requirements

what are you converting to and from? My friend just went from OA retirement to O marriage inside the country. But apparently I can't on my current visa

no difference. I asked last year way before the visa expired and they told me the same thing.

Is the Elite Visa a good option after the recent visa amnesty in Thailand?

Easy to do and apply for. Have to get Government clearence which they do for you. Don't apply until the country is open again is my advice as TE will have no priority

it's expired last August. I did a border bounce to get stamped in another year which expires on the 16th July. I am covered by the amnesty until the 30th. Office is Nakhon Sawan
