Hi both, nakalipad na po ba kayo from Manila to Thailand? Kinailagan po ba ng OEC sa immigration exit? I'm about to fly out and am worried. Technically it shouldn't be needed but lam nyo naman po sa tin, minsan pag walang clear rules, igegeneralize na lang. In case di po sila familiar Overseas Employment Certificate po ung OEC required for OFWs.

Hi, can I assume your employee who got the DTV from Manila is a Filipino? Has he flown to Thailand yet, would like to ask if he was asked for an OEC before leaving by Immigration.

Same question for your girlfriend. Thanks.

no need to be rude. Obviously you haven't followed the group enough, a lot of people have been struggling to get a bank account. Kudos to OP for empathizing with that and sharing a solution.

My experience is that of entry with the immigration officer in Thailand. If you mean upon check in with the airline from origin country, then yes, this is a good point to note. My experience is since they see a 5-year visa they haven't asked so far. This is for Air Asia.

You can if you are paying in cash and don't need a loan. If you need a loan then that's more complicated, you probably can't.
