The savings on 800,000 will pay for a plane ticket to go fetch it in any country..

Just make sure you declare it and carry the withdrawal paper work

 to easy to do on my own. Consulate is 5 minutes away . Paper work takes 20 minutes. Been on first name basis with consulate for 25 years..

 yes, I realize this. Last time it was 10 days , this time 6 weeks plus ? Canada rules get pretty stupid.
