TLDR : Answer Summary
The community advises against leaving Thailand before your scheduled immigration appointment on November 8 for your NON-O marriage visa extension, as departing may require you to restart the application process. It's important to attend your appointment on the specified date. Consider discussing any travel plans directly with immigration to see if they can accommodate changes, but be aware that flexibility is at their discretion. Users clarified the distinction between the visa and the extension process, emphasizing that the application is for an extension of stay based on marriage.

you have NOT applied for a "Non-O-Marriage visa". You have applied for the "1-year extension of the stay permit based on marriage to a Thai wife". The stay permit you received when entering using the visa. The visa itself expired and became "used" upon entry. Immigration calls it "visa extension" however they don't extend any visa
This might sound like a dumb question but did you consider asking the staff at the immigration office if you could delay getting your extension stamp until the 18th?
People will give answers based on knowledge, experience and hearsay of different immigration offices. It's important to understand that just about every immigration office operates their own policies (within the legal structure) and advice from your office has more substance than advice from a Facebook group.
said. However if you must leave and can’t get back in time, go and speak to your immigration office and tell them the reasons. They may be willing to be flexible a bit. But it’s up to them and at least you’d have a definitive answer.
You should not leave during your under consideration period or you may need to restart the entire process. You must return on the date they gave you. The time to ask for a different date was when you were applying.
